1. How to sign up for a course?

2. How many people are there in a group?
Group size is between 1 and 12 people. Completely full (12 person) groups are not very frequent. On average there are between 6 to 8 students in class, and their number gets smaller as one moves on to higher levels.

3. What is the average number of participants during a course?
Winter courses are rather smaller than summer courses. On average, there are between 20 to 60 participants.

4. Is my personal information (credit card number, address) secure?
All financial procedures are carried out with all required safety procedures in place. This is particularly the case when completing credit card transactions.

5. Is there a student discount?
Yes, if you are a student under 26 years of age, you will get 15 EUR/week discount. You can find more information about discounts here.

6. Does the teacher speak English/German/Japanese?
Our teachers speak many different foreign languages, however, during the lesson, the only language used is Polish. This is connected to the communicative approach which we use. Our teachers will understand if you ask a question in your native language.

7. Is the school close to the town centre?
The school is located in the centre of Krakow, only a few tram stops away from the Market Square.

8. Do you run a Bildungsurlaub course?
Yes.

9. At what time do classes start?
Classes always start at 9.30 a.m. The afternoon is reserved for the tourist and leisure programme activities.

11. How many levels are there? Will I learn at my level?
Prolog offers courses at all levels of proficiency, starting at complete beginners to conversational levels. You will be asked to complete a detailed placement test and to have an interview with a qualified teacher. Groups are formed based on placement test and interview results.

12. Can a course be canceled?
No, you have the assurance that each of the dates specified on our website will take place on the course.

13. Can I sign up for 1 week or three weeks?
Yes. Any combinations are possible. You can sign up in the middle of the course of one or more weeks. For more information, please contact the office.

14. Does the school sends a confirmation of the enrollment to the consulate and that helps to get a visa?
If the participant requires a student visa for entry into the country, the amount shown in the bill must be paid in full. After payment has been received, PROLOG forwards an original invitation to the appropriate Polish Consulate and a copy of the same to the student.

15. What if I live in Krakow and has repeatedly visited the city?
In this case, please contact our office to determine which points a tourist program would be for you attractive.

16. From which countries the PROLOG students come from?
Students come to us from every continent. Every year we host students from Canada, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Russia, Spain. Often come to us Swedes, Norwegians, Danes, Czechs and Slovaks. There are also Koreans, Greeks and Portuguese. Most students come from Germany, Great Britain, USA and Japan.
